K9 Caring Angels has an incredibly well organized training system. We had previously done some treat based training ourselves with some decent results, but there is no comparison to leaving your dog with them for their training bootcamp. When we reach now for his leash and training collar, he actually gets excited and know he is in for a lot of pats and praises. As a veterinarian I see a large number of young dogs coming in to me with frustrated owners wanting better manners for their pets. It's the number one relinquishment reason at the SPCA. I truly don't know what we would have done without K9 Caring Angels. When we adopted her, Mabel was afraid of everything and everybody. But with a lot of love and patience and training, she made a great deal of progress and gained her confidence - until one day another dog really scared her and everything was undone. I truly don't know what we would have done without K9 Caring Angels. When we adopted her, Mabel was afraid of everything and everybody. But with a lot of love and patience and training, she made a great deal of progress and gained her confidence - until one day another dog really scared her and everything was undone. Mabel was worse off than before. She would shake uncontrollably whenever we took her out onto the porch and she absolutely refused to walk even down the street. We tried trazodone and then we tried fluoxetine - but in our hearts we knew they really weren't making any difference. Mabel was still terrified to go for walks.
My husband met Angela at a health fair and after discussing Mabel's issues, he felt optimistic that two weeks with Angela's team would be worth it. It turned out to be the best investment we could ever have made. We received videos every day from trainer Sarah of Mabel's progress as she became more confident walking with all kinds of distractions and noises. Even being walked around stores next to a noisy cart. We couldn't believe it was the same dog! When Mabel came home we could see the difference immediately. She was happier and much more confident. Sarah worked with us so we learned how to continue and reinforce the training. Mabel happily goes for walks every day, loves being petted by people and playing with other dogs. We weaned her off the meds which clearly were never helping. There are no words to thank Angela, Sarah, Mackenzy and the K9 team. Mabel is now living her best life! -Claire Lockhart

“Angela is amazing and knows her stuff. She helped me train my dog when he was a pup and he is a 3 1/2 year old amazing boy now. She teaches you the skills so you know how to keep up on the training and have a well-behaved dog. We have 5 dogs and without her training skills my house would be chaos but you would never know we have this many dogs as they are all so well behaved due to the training Angela thought me. I highly recommend her for all dog training....a trained dog is a happy dog.”
